SQL Sip

terms, gently

SQL Sip is a small puzzle game made by one person. These are the friendly ground rules for using it, written in plain English.

welcome in

SQL Sip is a free puzzle game for learning SQL. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

how to use it

Play as much as you like for your own personal, non-commercial learning. Please don't scrape the puzzles, resell or redistribute the content, try to break or overload the site, or use automated tools against it. Please don't share invite codes in ways that spam other people.

what belongs to us

The puzzles, explanations, sample data, artwork, name, logo and overall look of SQL Sip belong to SQL Sip. You're very welcome to share links and screenshots of your own results. Copying the content into another product or course isn't allowed without permission.

the game is provided as-is

SQL Sip is for learning and fun. The queries and notes are simplified for teaching, and SQL behaves differently across databases in the real world. Nothing here is professional advice for running or designing a real database, and we can't promise the site will always be available or error-free.

changes and endings

The game is still growing, so puzzles, features and pricing may change over time, and parts of it may be paused or retired. We may update these terms as things evolve, and the current version always lives on this page. We can also close access for anyone who abuses the site.

limits

To the fullest extent the law allows, SQL Sip isn't liable for any loss or damage that comes from using (or being unable to use) the site.
